If Johnny can't go to the library, the library will come to him. Canada's first Bookmobile was put into service in British Columbia's lonely Fraser Valley in 1931. Today there are about 40 of these mobile libraries which strive to bring the best in books within the reach of every boy and girl. Above, a group of Ottawa boys look over the books they've chosen during the weekly visit of the Bookmobile to their school.
