Canada's five Atlantic provinces have built a multi-million dollar industry out of the lobster, the peculiar stalk-eyed creature which most inland people associate with luxurious living. Lobster traps and markers spread out on the shore beneath Yarmouth Light, in Nova Scotia, present a picturesque scene which is repeated in hundreds of little harbours and fishing villages throughout the Maritimes. Annual lobster catch averages about 48 million pounds, worth over $15 million to the fishermen and $20 million on the market
