Main Text
In addition to the regular two-week camp, HMCS Acadia has a seven-week leadership course attended by about 75 cadets annually. This year these cadets formed a royal guard for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II. Discipline, skill and comradeship in sea cadet training prepare these young lads for a useful role as adult citizens of Canada. Whether their future lies with the Royal Canadian Navy or a career in civilian life, sea cadet summer at HMCS Acadia will not be soon forgotten.
