On ophthalmologist's advice, patient is sent to clinic where Dr. Viger examines eyes for signs of abnormal pressure. Eye specialists are suspicious of glaucoma when patient complains of blurred or "smoky" vision in the morning, halos or rainbows around lights, or eye pain after movies or strong emotions.
