A unique enterprise, to discover little known habits of the pink salmon, is being carried out by an international commission of salmon sleuths 30 miles south of Vancouver, B.C., in American waters. Believed to be the only place in the world where reef netting is done, the waters off the State of Washington provide the prerequisites for this unusual method of salmon spotting: a submerged reef, tides and crystal-clear water.
