Main Text
At a signal from the spotter, nets slung between boats are hauled in teeming with fish which are tagged for future identification and sent on their journey towards Canadian rivers where they spawn. Under the International Commission's management pink salmon are on the increase, should provide a good source of revenue for British Columbia's fishermen during "off-cycle" years for the higher-priced sockeye.
