Main Text
Stefansson today lives in a comfortable New England cottage near Dartmouth College. His wife, Evelyn, whom he married in 1941, is librarian of the Stefansson Collection at the college. The Stefanssons eat an almost all-meat diet, result of Stef's experience in the Arctic with fat meat as a cure for scurvy. Here, Mrs. Stefansson tries her pemmican stew on a world expert.
