Well into its second orbit around the summer sun, Montreal's Man and His World exposition has retained much of the magic and global showmanship which attracted 50,000,000 visitors last year and also has added many new points of interest. The result is another international variety of philosophical and scientific exhibits mixed with a fine assortment of entertainment. This year, in perhaps more leisurely detail, can be seen such comprehensive exhibits as Man the Explorer and Man the Creator, new displays like the history of the automobile, national presentations by scores of participating countries and the rip-roaring La Ronde fun fair and entertainment centre which is reaching new levels of high-energy exhilaration. Breaking the pace for visitors are such restful and pleasing exhibits as the Biosphere - containing formal gardens, birds from around the world, trees and fountains; Image - a gallery of beautifully colored photography; and a bounty of graceful restaurants serving cuisines from the four corners of the earth. Such is the variety of interests served (from underwater views of penguins racing each other in the massive aquarium to drinking foaming beers slid along the wide bar of the Golden Garter Saloon), that this permanent exhibition has become one with its title and is indeed a world - a vigorous world of excitement, interest, history and novelty spread over one thousand of the most informative acres of the evolving planet Earth.
