To the men who man Canada's salvage ships the arduous job of rescuing vessels in distress is just part of the day's work. When the tug Active, above, grounded on the rocky shores of Carrington Bay on the east coast of Vancouver Island, it took salvage crews just 8 hours to have the doughty little tug afloat once more.
