Flying is no longer the hazardous adventure of a quarter century ago but is swift and sure as science can make it. In the great spaces of the open skies, traffic control is just as important as it is in the city's crowded streets. Canada has been one of the countries foremost in developing safety standards that are now practised all over the world to ensure happy landings for millions of passengers.
