Healthy appetites and hearty meals are as much of the spring drives as the churning waters and tumbling pulpwood. The Canadian pulp and paper industry spends an annual $20 million dollars on top quality food. To the husky "draveurs" who shepherd pulpwood on its way to the mill, a good cook is the most important man in camp.
