The Banff School of Fine Arts is quite literally a campus with its "head in the clouds" although everyone from Director to students has throughout its 26-year history walked towards the fulfilment of a bold dream with eyes fixed on the heavens, feet firmly planted on the ground. The school has grown and changed with the times but the principle on which it was founded -- to enrich the mind in a setting to inspire the spirit -- has only deepened with the years.
