Main Text
Ottawa has been described as a city on its way to perfection. Set on a bluff overlooking the Ottawa River, it has been endowed by nature with a setting of unsurpassed grandeur. Down through the years a battery of town planners have implemented a master plan for Ottawa designed to create a capital city worthy of the nation. On Dominion Day the country pauses to celebrate and take stock, conscious of the need for the nation to be worthy of its destiny.
