With Canada's population constantly spiralling upwards, the need for more bread, more economically produced, becomes a challenge and a problem undreamed of in grandmother's day. The delights of home-made bread, baked in picturesque old-fashioned ovens will ever be a cherished memory for many but the demands of modern living have witnessed the steady march of automation into a variety of fields, including recently, the bakery.
