Main Text
Whether searching for stray cattle, flying workers to isolated areas on the farm, or going to a community picnic, the farmer's airplane is an invaluable asset. Successful experiments, like seeding from the air, have been done when conventional equipment was bogged down in wet and sloppy soil. The hitherto isolated life on the farm is rapidly disappearing with the increased use of the airplane. Getting young farmers up in the air is proving a successful way of keeping them down on the farm.
